Price Norm

The Price Norm is a vital reference tool developed by NPPA to promote transparency, consistency, and value for money in public procurement. It reflects prevailing market rates and serves as a guide for procuring entities and suppliers across Sierra Leone.

We continue to call on all stakeholders in the procurement ecosystem to work collaboratively with NPPA in our mission to reform and strengthen procurement practices nationwide. This involves strict adherence to processes and procedures, improved compliance, and the cultivation of competitive yet cooperative relationships between procuring entities and the supplier community.

With the consistency of our publications now established, our next focus is on price rationalization and fostering consistency in quoted prices across sectors. Achieving this will require deeper engagement between NPPA, procuring entities, and suppliers underscored by enhanced monitoring and cooperation.
