NPPA Advances Digital Procurement Transformation with e-GP Pilot MDAs
The National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) has taken a major step toward enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public procurement with the inaugural meeting of the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) Pilot MDAs on March 7, 2025, at the Ministry of Finance in Freetown.
The session, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Finance 1, brought together key representatives from pilot Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to assess their preparedness for the transition to the digital procurement system.
The CEO of NPPA, Fodie J. Konneh, outlined the benefits of e-GP, emphasizing its role in streamlining procurement processes, reducing corruption risks, and improving service delivery.
Discussions also covered implementation readiness, security measures, and training plans to ensure a smooth adoption of the system.
NPPA remains committed to supporting MDAs in this transformation, ensuring that digital procurement becomes a game-changer for public service efficiency in Sierra Leone. Stay tuned for more updates!
